I am a bioengineering graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, and if my schooling has taught me anything, there is always more to learn.
I have changed my concentration four times and taken classes ranging from computer science to studio art and everything in between, but have found one consistency throughout my time at Pitt.

There is nothing better than working on challenging projects with dedicated friends and colleagues.

I started volunteering at the Humane Animal Rescue my sophomore year because I missed my dogs, but then fell in love with helping stray dogs learn to trust again.

When you're down on your luck sometimes all you need is a helping hand.

It is tremendously easy to accumulate stress and anxiety and I believe we all need an outlet lest we go insane.

I find my peace through running and races. I am revisiting the Disney marathon this coming January, and have been running the Tough Mudder for so many years, I needed to fake my age to sign up for my first one.

This past spring I had the privilege of becoming a Ski Patroller at Boyce Park in Monroeville, PA.

Becoming a Ski Patroller requires the Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification which meets or exceeds the standards of an Emergency Medical Responder.

After completing the OEC course and learning the basics of first aid, it is a skill I believe we all should have.
